Changes
- A manual paste confirmed unsuccessful by readback no longer records the expected replacement as a previous result or switches the Windows layout. This prevents repeated commands from searching for text that was never inserted.
- A previous-result verification mismatch clears stale repeat-conversion state.
- A writable native Windows EDIT field may receive one guarded paste retry: readback must equal the original text, and fresh native checks must confirm the exact original selection, unchanged focus and input context. Other controls, protected/read-only fields and unknown/changed selections are not retried.
- The guarded retry and failed-paste readback handling require Write log, which enables manual-conversion readback. Clipboard restoration remains conditional on ownership.
Validation
The final isolated conversion integration run passed: permanently blocked paste, unexpected editor content, clearing fictional previous results, ignored-first-paste recovery, clipboard restoration, repeat conversion and partial-selection recovery. Typo integration also passed, including Undo and uninterrupted typing. 541 input/UI checks (240 DPI), 105 sync/protocol checks, 483 native regressions and 48 updater checks passed. All release executable versions and manifest hashes were verified. Earlier interactive attempts were interrupted by concurrent input or a transient clipboard-restoration assertion; the final isolated rerun passed.
Limitations
The cause of every ignored paste is not established. This release does not claim to solve all asynchronous selection failures in ChatGPT/browser editors. Keep Write log enabled and send complete operation details if the issue recurs. Native retry is bounded to one attempt; it is not a general retry policy for other applications. All existing dictionary-correction and synchronization limitations remain.

Validation
The final build passed isolated checks for the new button, cancellation, confirmed deletion of pinned/search-hidden entries and persistence after reloading the history store. 48 updater regression checks passed; all executable versions and release-manifest hashes were verified. The full desktop-interaction suite was not rerun for this focused patch.
Known limitations
Existing asynchronous-editor selection/clipboard limitations remain; this release does not fix the reported ChatGPT selection mismatch. Dictionary typo correction and OpenBao synchronization remain experimental as documented in v0.6.28.

- Custom automatic replacement pairs and optional dictionary typo correction. Both are off by default; enable Automatic correction and the desired modes in Auto-correction options. Custom pairs take priority; dictionary correction accepts one unambiguous single edit in words of at least four letters. Case, punctuation, exclusions and Undo are preserved.
- First synchronization now merges independent entries immediately. Different values for one setting remain pending as individual conflicts instead of requiring Download/Upload of a whole profile.
- Optional partial sync keeps this PC's layout cycle and direct shortcuts while syncing other settings. Existing server layouts and bindings are preserved, including during explicit Upload. Missing-layout errors identify the language where available and exact layout IDs.
- Disabled synchronization disables dependent controls. Save can persist disabling without connecting; forgetting the saved password remains available. Status messages can be selected, copied and scrolled.
- Selection diagnostics record expected/copied text before and after recovery, clipboard sequences and retries, timing, focus/caret information and context interruptions. Failed verification now includes expected and actual text. Context retains up to 128 events for 30 seconds.
Validation
105 sync/protocol/conflict checks and 483 native regression checks and 48 updater checks passed. All 12 manifest files and all three executable versions were verified in the release ZIP. Focused partial-sync UI checks and screenshot PNG-save regressions passed. During development, conversion/diagnostic and typo integration scenarios passed, including Undo and uninterrupted typing. Final interactive input testing is limited by this execution session reporting no foreground window; the full screenshot UI suite also failed its pan assertion at 240 DPI. These interactive checks are not claimed as passing.
Limitations
Dictionary typo correction is experimental and has no sentence context. Ambiguous words are unchanged. The reported asynchronous selection mismatch in ChatGPT is not fixed by the new diagnostics; full-range verification still cancels unsafe replacements. OpenBao synchronization remains experimental and requires HTTPS, KV v2 and a provisioned userpass account/policy. Ordered layout/language lists are resolved as whole settings; partial mode keeps the entire local layout configuration. Update participating PCs together for the new profile fields. No account registration, MFA, non-root namespaces or reverse-proxy URL prefixes.

- Tray and clipboard context menus support underlined access keys. Press the letter while a menu is open (S for Settings, X for Exit).
- Alt+letter activates buttons and checkboxes in Settings, Snippets, Logs, synchronization/conflict, OCR and dictionary dialogs. Selected field labels also move focus to their input.
- Clipboard history supports Alt+letter for its actions and search while retaining Enter, Shift+Enter and Ctrl+digit shortcuts.
- Press Alt to reveal Windows' hidden underlines. Shortcut capture still records Alt combinations; press Tab to leave the capture field before using form access keys. Captions and access keys currently use English letters.

- Settings → Sync… is available to everyone. Connect your own OpenBao KV v2 with a username and password; synchronization is disabled by default and no server is built in.
- Synchronize at startup, approximately two seconds after saving settings, and every 10 minutes in the background. Local operation continues offline.
- Merge independent settings changes and resolve conflicts individually, with local/server values shown side by side. Unresolved values stay pending while independent changes synchronize. Every server write uses CAS to protect concurrent changes.
- Snippets have stable IDs and retained deletion records. Independent snippets, renames and text edits can merge; deletion versus editing and duplicate shortcuts/triggers receive explicit conflict handling.
- Personal dictionaries, exclusions, shortcuts and layout preferences synchronize. Startup, history, local paths, connection details and credentials stay on the PC. Passwords use Windows Credential Manager; cached sync state uses DPAPI.
- Existing profiles migrate to sync envelope version 2. Update every participating PC before using the new synchronization behavior.
Validation
91 sync/protocol/conflict checks, 423 native regressions, 510 input/UI checks, screenshot editor and PNG save regressions, shared wheel handling, notification registration, 48 updater checks and updater progress checks. Initial upload and personal-dictionary synchronization were confirmed against the user's OpenBao. Two-physical-PC production testing is still pending.
