    Screenshot capture and editing now run on demand in KSwitcher.Screenshot.exe. The resident KSwitcher process no longer includes the editor. Multiple numbered editor windows share one screenshot process, which exits after its last window closes.

    Editor improvements include independent Alt+Tab windows, copying without closing, a clearer centered close confirmation, and stable window indices.

    Update packages now include a versioned file manifest with file sizes and SHA-256 hashes. New application files can be added without changing an executable allowlist; path validation, protection of user data, dictionary preservation and rollback remain enforced.

    Updating from v0.4.1: use the tray Update command to install v0.4.2 first, then use Update again for v0.5.0. The stable release-v tag deliberately keeps legacy clients on the compatible bridge until their updater is ready. Fresh installs can extract this full ZIP directly. Keep all three EXEs together; close screenshot editors before installing updates.

    Validated: 173 native checks, 379 input checks, screenshot UI/process lifecycle checks, 45 updater checks, and the real v0.4.1 -> v0.4.2 -> v0.5.0 package transition including data preservation and rollback.
