Another process can briefly hold the Windows clipboard open, and some editors silently ignore Ctrl+C in that situation. From v0.6.19, KSwitcher makes at most three copy attempts while its clipboard and input context remain unchanged. A retry stage can appear in the bounded diagnostic context; successful operations still do not create separate file rows. If copying still fails, the text cannot be verified and replacement is cancelled. Do not treat a sent Ctrl+V as confirmation that an editor accepted the paste; the existing readback diagnostics and limitations still apply.

+## Fast scrolling (v0.6.20)
Inertial wheels, including Logitech Infinity Scroll, use a shared event-batching handler. It is connected to history, layout/snippet lists, the log table and its details, multiline fields, combo boxes, and scrollable settings windows. High-resolution partial wheel steps are retained, and list positions are clamped at their boundaries. The wheel over a screenshot annotation still changes its size or thickness; that action is not scrolling.
**[LOCAL DEV]** in window titles and the tray tooltip identifies a local developer build. The `.local-dev` file beside the EXE enables it and is created by `build.ps1`. Release ZIPs omit that file. This is a visual label, not a separate data profile or permission to run two resident instances.
