From v0.6.31, KSwitcher recovers trailing ordinary spaces omitted by Ctrl+C only when Windows accessibility proves the complete selection. The same focused control and range are rechecked before paste, and the result is read back even without Write log. Recent-text conversion, automatic correction, repeat conversion and Undo retain exact verification. Missing letters, tabs, line breaks and unavailable or ambiguous selections are not reconstructed. No setting or shortcut has changed.

### Notification registration and Viber — v0.6.36
Notification registration runs in KSwitcher.Screenshot.exe; keep all three executables together. Startup registration is asynchronous. Viber pastes allow 75 ms for clipboard notifications before Ctrl+V, retaining focus, ownership and selection checks. This mitigates an intermittent clipboard timing issue; it does not guarantee all Viber failures are resolved. UI Automation is unchanged.
### Image history, OCR and duplicate fingerprints — v0.6.37
Image clipboard capture and automatic/uncached manual history OCR run in short-lived KSwitcher.Screenshot.exe processes. Keep all three executables together. Original clipboard formats, image limits, privacy exclusions, Windows OCR, optional Tesseract and searchable encrypted OCR results are preserved. Background OCR is cancelled on shutdown or an OCR-profile change; late results do not recreate deleted entries.
Consecutive duplicates use SHA-256 fingerprints inside the encrypted history index, including pixel fingerprints for equivalent image encodings. Older entries acquire fingerprints on first comparison without a bulk migration. Pins and OCR caches survive duplicate detection; non-consecutive copies still create separate entries. New text no longer loads the preceding image to rule out a duplicate. No shortcut, setting or default changed.
Moving OCR isolates its temporary memory rather than reducing the combined processing peak. A controlled three-run comparison retained about 0.8 MiB less private RAM in the caller after recognition; combined peak RAM was about 55.6 MiB before and 56.6 MiB with the helper. Results depend on the image, OCR engine and system.

## v0.6.31 — 2026-11-03
## v0.6.37 — 2026-11-04
## Changes
## Changes
- Fix conversion failures when an editor such as Viber omits trailing ASCII spaces from Ctrl+C. KSwitcher recovers those spaces only when Windows accessibility confirms the full selection in the target application's focused, non-password control. Exact recent-text and previous-result checks still apply.
- Image clipboard history capture runs in KSwitcher.Screenshot.exe, so Windows clipboard image allocations are released when the helper exits. The configured size limit, privacy exclusions and original clipboard formats are preserved.
- Recheck the same control and full selection before pasting a recovered range. Read back the replacement even when Write log is disabled; an unknown or mismatching result does not seed repeat conversion or switch the layout.
- Automatic and uncached manual history OCR run in the same helper executable, in a separate short-lived process. Only encrypted requests and recognized text cross the process boundary. Windows OCR and optional Tesseract remain supported; profile changes and shutdown cancel background work, and deleted entries are not recreated by late results.
- The shared copy path supports manual conversion, automatic dictionary correction, repeat conversion and Undo. No shortcut, setting or default has changed.
- Consecutive duplicate detection uses SHA-256 fingerprints stored inside the encrypted index. Exact payloads, image representations and decoded pixels can be compared without loading the previous record. Old entries acquire fingerprints on first comparison; pins and cached OCR are preserved. This does not introduce global deduplication.
- Copying text after an image no longer loads the previous image just to rule out a duplicate. Settings, shortcuts and defaults are unchanged. Keep all three executables together.
## Validation
## Validation
Live Viber validation converted `Ghbdsn ` to `Привіт ` and confirmed the retained trailing space without sending a message. Final isolated conversion and typo integration runs passed, including real clipboard-space stripping, two spaces within surrounding text, repeat conversion, Undo, missing/unrelated selection rejection, and blocked-paste state clearing with logging disabled. 483 native, 541 input/UI, 105 sync and 48 updater checks passed, as did wheel batching, screenshot PNG saving, screenshot registration and updater progress checks. Earlier integration attempts encountered clipboard contention/restoration and log-rotation assertions; the isolated final rerun passed. The unchanged screenshot UI suite still fails at `middle drag pans enlarged canvas`; screenshot implementation and test source are unchanged from v0.6.30. All three packaged executable versions and all 12 manifest file sizes/hashes were verified; no personal data is packaged.
Staged build: dictionary equivalence for 140,939 words, 105 sync checks, wheel batching, 313 native checks, 559 input checks, screenshot UI/PNG/notification registration, 48 updater checks and updater progress UI. Windows OCR tests cover helper equivalence, cancellation, failure, encrypted temporary-file cleanup, persisted background search and unchanged clipboard. Optional Tesseract and clipboard-capture integration are also verified.
## Limitations
Three controlled OCR comparisons used the same image and settings: retained private working set in the isolated test process fell by about 0.8 MiB. Combined parent/helper peak RAM did not fall (about 55.6 versus 56.6 MiB); the large peak is now outside the resident process and disappears when the helper exits. A separate live screenshot test finished at 4.41 MiB private working set in the main application. These observations are not fixed memory limits or guarantees for another machine/workload.
Recovery requires a non-empty clipboard prefix and a single readable accessibility selection whose only additional characters are trailing ordinary spaces. Tabs, line breaks, missing letters, ambiguous or inaccessible selections are not reconstructed. Accessibility and editor timing can still prevent a conversion. This is not a general fix for all asynchronous editor failures.
