v0.6.40 supersedes v0.6.39 to align Windows resource version metadata in the tagged source with the shipped binaries. Functional memory fixes are unchanged.
## Changes
- Clipboard history runs in a separate, short-lived instance of KSwitcher.exe. Closing history with Esc releases its UI process instead of retaining Windows UI allocations in the resident. Esc also works when the window itself or an action button has focus.
