# KSwitcher offline word lists Derived from FrequencyWords by Hermit Dave and contributors, using its 2016 OpenSubtitles word-frequency lists, revision 525f9b560de45753a5ea01069454e72e9aa541c6. Source: https://github.com/hermitdave/FrequencyWords Underlying corpus: https://opus.nlpl.eu/OpenSubtitles-v2016.php These dictionary DATA files are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution- ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0): https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ Legal terms: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode The application's source code remains separately MIT licensed. Changes by KSwitcher: lowercase, alphabet/length/minimum-frequency filtering, replace counts with original frequency ranks, sort lexically. Reproduce with `python tools/build-dictionaries.py`; sources.json records upstream and output hashes. The lists contain word forms from subtitles, not a complete spelling or grammar dictionary. Recognition can miss names, jargon and uncommon forms. File format: UTF-8 word, TAB, positive original frequency rank, newline. All entries protect known words. The frequency rank limit in Auto-correction options defaults to 0 (entire dictionary); a positive limit only permits correction candidates at or below that rank. Personal words may use rank 1. Keep entries lowercase, unique and sorted, with a Tab separator. Save the UTF-8 file, then click OK in Auto-correction options and Save in Settings to reload it. Back up edited files before replacing dictionaries with a new distribution.
